• NITRILE
– Tightly woven structure properties prevent water seepage and penetration providing a reliable barrier highly impermeable to liquids such as water, oils, and chemicals.
– An ideal choice for handling potentially hazardous corrosive chemicals and suitable for most medical environments eliminating latex allergy reaction risks.
• VINYL
– A popular low-cost choice where they’re changed frequently and discarded.
– Commonly used for food preparation in households, hospitality and workplaces for its oil and water resistance properties.
– Wearing for long periods lessens resistance protection being less flexible than latex and nitrile types.
• LATEX
– Effectively protects hands and wrists against most substances: alcohols, body fluids, coarse materials and detergents but not recommended for use in food establishments. Discard after each use.
– Powder used on gloves may cause irritation and increase allergic reaction or development.
– Recommended Latex alternative is Nitrile gloves
• PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
– Provides good resistance protection to water, oils, fats and against many strong chemicals, acids, bases, alcohols, pesticides and caustics, but not as durable as nitrile.

– Not recommended for ketones or many other types of solvents.
